You can visit our branches or call us on 0800 202 777.

Q. What are the requirements for me to get financing from Watu in Uganda?

UGX 800,000 minimum downpayment, National ID, 2 Guarantors with National IDs, mobile money account with MTN or Airtel.

Q. How long does it take for me to get my asset once I complete the loan application?

Once you have all the requirements, it will take approximately two hours to get your motorcycle.

Q. How can I make weekly payments to Watu for my asset?

To pay Watu via mobile money on MTN or Airtel, you dial *217*777# and enter your license plate number as the reference. No cash payments are accepted.

Q. What are the weekly payments?

Weekly payments are subject to the bike model, down payment and loan duration. When you visit our branch, your personalized payment schedule will be generated by our onboarding officers.

Q. Will I get weekly reminders about payments?

Yes, you will receive SMS reminders about your weekly payments. Please note that reminders will be sent to your primary mobile number.
