The logbook transfer process begins when you finish paying for the asset. Your NTSA TIMS account must be operational and our team will initiate the log book discharge process thus requesting for transfer of the logbook from Watu Gari to your name.
When the online transfer is complete, our officer will notify you of the pick-up Watu branch where the logbook (still under joint names) is handed over. You will then be advised to take the logbook to NTSA offices in about 2 week’s time to obtain the logbook in your name.
The whole process takes approximately one month to process.
